Ever notice how applause and rushing water have a similar sound?

The choir and orchestra last night, the dance concert, the play--it's been an almost non-stop feast of music, applause and a few tears, too. I'm lucky to be a dad and an uncle, a guy who sits in audiences, listens, watches, and feels the glow of loved-ones in performance.
